No entry fee is required to participate. During online registration, studios must nominate at least 3 group routines in the same genre, across 3 different age divisions (Mini, Junior, Teen, or Senior). Studios may submit routines in all 4 divisions, but only the top 3 scores will count toward the final total. Studios may enter in multiple genres, but can only win in one. Nominated routines will perform as usual during the Finals Competition.

Studio Award scores are calculated using the scores earned by each studio's nominated routines during the Finals Competition. The studio with the highest combined score from three eligible routines in a single genre will win the Studio Award for that genre. To qualify for the award and cash prize, the three routines must earn a combined score of at least 865.

• Routines must compete in the Finals Competition and must be in the Mini, Junior, Teen, or Senior divisions. PeeWee and Open routines are not eligible.
• “Aging up” routines are not permitted.
• Winning a Studio Award has no impact on eligibility or results in The OPUS Award competition.
• Studios may compete in multiple genres, however they may only win one Studio Award.
• The maximum total cash prizes awarded per studio is $5,000, and the maximum total value of OPUS vouchers awarded per studio is $5,000. These limits supersede all other group-based cash prizes and voucher awards.
• The studio receiving the $25,000 OPUS Award is excluded from these limits and will receive the $25,000 cash award only. That studio will not receive any additional group-based cash prizes or OPUS vouchers.
• Any individual cash prizes are not affected by these limits and will be awarded in full.
